5 great new (and classic) additions coming to Prime Video in September

The big new movies and shows arriving on the streaming service throughout the month.

If you’ve got an Amazon Prime Video subscription, then here are the major new highlights set to arrive throughout the month of September!

THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER

Set thousands of years before the events of the movies, this massively budgeted fantasy series will see the first rise to power of Sauron, and all of the humans, dwarves and elves who band together to attempt to defeat him.

The first two episodes arrive on Friday, 2 September, with the remainder of the series arriving weekly after that.

TENET

Christopher Nolan’s time-twisting sci-fi action-thriller demands several rewatches in order to just wrap our heads around those eye-popping set-pieces. We chatted to the movie’s stars Robert Pattison and Elizabeth Debicki about the movie, and you can check out those interviews below.

GOODNIGHT MOMMY

This remake of the Austrian horror movie sees two young boys who become convinced that the woman (Naomi Watts) recuperating from facial reconstruction surgery isn’t actual their mother.

The movie arrives on Friday, 16 September.

BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC

The long-delayed sequel sees Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter return to their iconic roles, once against forced to save the world as we know it, all through the medium of rock music.

The movie arrives on Saturday, 24 September.

MY BEST FRIEND’S EXORCISM

Eighth Grade star Elsie Fisher stars in this teen horror set in 1988, when a group of BFFs are torn apart when one of them appears to have been possessed by a demon.

The movie arrives on Friday, 30 September.
