The team player is making money hand over fist.

While it’s not exactly fair to distill an entire documentary into one life lesson, it is possible to come away with a core learning from certain features.

For example, Making A Murderer highlighted the inadequacies in America’s criminal system.

An Inconvenient Truth was a startling look at global warming and the devastating impact that mankind is having on the Earth.

Icarus explored the murky ties between doping in sports and corruption.

FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened, meanwhile, showed us that a man was fully prepared to go above and beyond in order to get a few trucks of Evian cleared by customs.

The man is a team player.

Okay, there was quite a bit more to unravel and learn from Netflix’s fantastic documentary, but after seeing the feature, there’s no denying that Andy King’s remarkable account of how he was prepared to ‘take one for the team’ stole the focus.

Since the documentary was released, King has seen his profile skyrocket with his own show and a rumoured musical about the doomed festival from  The Lonely Island in the works.

Despite the fact that he doesn’t want to be known as “the blowjob king of the world“, King is a remarkably busy man at the minute.

In a recent interview with TMZ, the event producer said that three different music festivals have been in touch to offer him work.

Aside from this, King said that he’s shooting a movie in March, and that he has offers for a variety of TV shows.

However, things could have been very different.

As you can see below, King originally wanted his startling confession to be deleted from the final film.

“Listen, I just talked with my lawyers and some of my creative team. They said, ‘Andy, you’ve got to pull that thing. That cannot go in the documentary.’

“But when I sat with the director, he said: ‘No, Andy, you don’t understand. Without that scene, there isn’t a documentary.'”
