Ardal O'Hanlon recounted a very scary story on The Late Late Show last night that left viewers feeling a bit spooked.
The comedian and actor was joined on the programme by The Great British Bake Off star Matt Lucas and Eurovision star Bambi Thug, and had them both gripped by the eerie nature of the paranormal encounter he once experienced.
The strange interaction happened at O'Hanlon's home early one Saturday morning when his daughter was just a year and a half old.
The family's slow morning start was interrupted when they heard a vigorous knock at the front door. Wondering who could possibly be calling round at that hour, O'Hanlon and his wife went to check who it was, but before they had a chance to think, their daughter, who wasn’t speaking full sentences yet, remarked; 'It’s a lady with a pram.'
Startled by what their daughter was saying, the couple ran to the front of the house where, lo and behold, they saw a woman with a pram looking up to their top window.
The content of the story and the way the comedian told it left viewers stunned and spooked.
One person took to X to reference the story, writing: "Right id have burned the house down."
Another added: "Tell us who the lady with the pram was who called at 7.30 on a Saturday morning!"
Others remarked that the scariest part of the story is what the daughter said to her parents.

While much of the Halloween festivities during last night's Late Late Show were more humorous than terrifying, O'Hanlon's story certainly left a few people tossing and turning in bed.
