Avengers Endgame

Our excitement for this movie builds by the day.

Just over a month ago, we got our first look at the trailer for Avengers: Endgame, and it blew our minds.

Tony Stark looked like he was all out of ideas, Captain America seemed optimistic but desperate and it looks like the weight of the world will be in the hands of Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man.

But all in all, the trailer didn’t give that much away.

And recent comments made by Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige explained why that is the case.

Feige was speaking to MTV News on the Red Carpet of the Golden Globes on Sunday night, and he said that it was “somewhat accurate” to say that all of the footage that we have seen and will see in promotional footage for Avengers: Endgame will come from the first 20 minutes of the movie.

It appears that Feige is extremely happy with how Infinity War fit into the MCU, saying: “We did Infinity War and Endgame at the same time, but those have been the longest gestating movies we’ve ever made.

“Four years now, almost five years. And it was always about delivering on the promise that we had set up. And the way the world received Infinity War was amazing, it was exactly what we wanted.”

We don’t know whether we should be excited, nervous, terrified, or a combination of the three ahead of Endgame, and these comments aren’t giving us much to work with.

Oh well, not too long to go now.

Avengers: Endgame will be released in Irish cinemas on 26 April.
