BBC secures rights to the second season of one of the best recent crime dramas

Carl Kinsella

Killing Eve

A major relief for viewers in the UK and Ireland.

Fans on this side of the Atlantic who have just gotten the chance to catch up with BBC America Drama Killing Eve starring Sandra Oh will be pleased to learn that the show’s second season will also be broadcast on the BBC.

Killing Eve season 2 will continue the story established in season 1, adapting the Villanelle novels of Luke Jennings.

The first season of the show, which was 8 episodes long, followed Sandra Oh’s MI5 pencil-pusher character and her investigation of a psychopathic assassin, played by Jodie Comer.

The second season of the show was ordered before the first even premiered, but it’s not yet clear when Killing Eve will return to our screens. But all that matters is that it will, and that we’ll be able to see it.
