It's Thursday.

We're inching slowly through the week. A lot has happened and there's still a few days to go. But one thing we can rely on is some movies on TV, although not on any Irish channels. We've had to look further afield to find this evening's movies on TV. Thunderball - ITV4 - 9pm Sean Connery’s fourth and second last outing as 007, and it's probably one of the better Bond movies. Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story - E4 - 9pm A classic comedy with Vince Vaughn at his peak. Ben Stiller is also very good, in a performance reminiscent of an old Disney film, Heavyweights. Jack Reacher - Sky One - 9pm Tom Cruise plays Jack Reacher character from the Lee Child series of novels in what is overall, a more than decent action film. American Pie - Comedy Central - 9pm You know what this is about. Kingsman: The Golden Circle - Film4 - 9pm Colin Firth, Taron Egerton and Pedro Pascal star in this enjoyable over the top comedy/spy/thriller. The Limehouse Golem - BBC One - 11.25pm Victorian London is gripped with fear as a serial killer is on the loose and leaving cryptic messages written in the blood of his victims. Bill Nighy leads a brilliant cast as Detective John Kildare, tasked with finding the killer. The Heat - Film4 - 11.50pm A buddy cop movie flipped on its head and the result is more than decent.
