WATCH: The bloopers from Between Two Ferns: The Movie are absolutely hilarious

Paul Moore

Practically impossible not to laugh.

God bless Zach Galifianakis and his two ferns.

Without his journalistic integrity and ability to not give a single f**k about any celebrity he’s interviewing, we wouldn’t know the answer to some important questions.

For example, did you ever wonder what the marijuana budget was on True Detective, if Jon Hamm likes being called ‘a hot idiot’, how Paul Rudd hides his Jewishness, or just how many words Keanu Reeves actually knows?

Of course, none of these interviews are genuine but the deadpan, unwavering and dedicated comedic skills of Galifianakis will have you believing that they are.

Simply put, the guy has some serious balls and he manages to keep a straight face… well, sort of.

As he’s frequently shown in his Funny Or Die web series, there isn’t a topic too taboo or unsafe for Galifianakis to examine when he’s between two ferns.

Between Two Ferns: The Movie doesn’t always work as the road trip angle lacks pace and those laugh out loud moments, but when Galifianakis is interviewing celebrities, it’s absolute gold.

Christ, it’s worth watching for the title cards alone.

Anyway, rather than getting annoyed at Galifianakis’ line of questioning, it appears that the majority of celebrities actually had to contain themselves from laughing while filming.

As those who saw the film will know, the closing credits featured some outtakes that didn’t make the final cut and they’re absolute gold.

Also, Paul Rudd’s full interview with the star of The Hangover is definitely worth watching because it’s just brilliant.

Take a look at the bloopers and the extended version of Rudd’s interview below.

The outtakes from Matthew McConaughey are absolutely priceless.

Enjoy!
