JOE brings you the latest trailers in association with the good folk over at Magnet.
It doesn’t come as that much of a surprise really. I mean, the two men were hardly going to star in a Family Guy-style romance with each other, were they?
As well as starring in The Expendables 1, 2 and 3 together, both human giants released their own action films last year; Sly with Bullet To The Head and Arnie with The Last Stand.
It turns out that The Last Stand was anything but though, as the two men will be back on our big screens this September starring as two convicts who team up to break out of the world’s most secure (and cool looking) prison.
As generic extra number 4 says in the clip, Sly’s character “Ray Breslin is able to break out of any prison designed by man.” JOE’s simple solution? Just get a dog to design one. Easy.
One word of advice; if you are going to tell Sly Stallone that he “hits like a vegetarian,” you’ll definitely want to make sure you’re Arnold Schwarzenegger first. It also helps if you look like you’re Tom Cruise’s da in Collateral.
The film also stars Jim ‘Jesus Christ’ Caviezel as the menacing warden and 50 ‘I’m wearing glasses’ Cent. We’re not sure why he’s in it either.
Escape Plan is due to be released in Irish cinemas on 18th October 2013.
