Disney+ is adding a few classic shows to its library

Star will host shows like 24, Lost and Desperate Housewives.

Some classic shows will be added to Disney+ in the coming months as the streaming platform launches its Star strand on 23 February.

Star will become the sixth brand to launch on Disney+, joining entertainment favourites Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, National Geographic and Disney.

Disney have said that Star promises more TV series, more movies, more originals and it will become the  home of television and films from studios including Disney Television Studios, FX, 20th Century Studios and 20th Television.

The app will be updated on 23 February to include easy-to-use parental controls to ensure Disney+ is suitable for audiences of all ages.

Subscribers will be able to set limits on access to content for specific profiles based on content ratings and add a PIN to lock profiles with access to mature content.

Some of the series coming to the platform are 24, Lost, Desperate Housewives, Black-ish, How I Met Your Mother, Atlanta, Prison Break, The X-Files, as well as films from the Die Hard movie franchise.

There will also be original content in the form of Big Sky, from Big Little Lies and The Undoing’s David E Kelley, which follows the search for two sisters who have been kidnapped on a remote highway in Montana.

Love, Victor is set in the world of the original 2018 film Love, Simon, and the series follows Victor, a new student at Creekwood High School. When it all seems too much, he reaches out to Simon to help him navigate the ups and downs of high school.
