Disney+ to forever remove over 50 huge shows and movies from its library

There is a chance you'll never be able to watch some of these shows and movies ever again.

From Friday 26 May, Disney will be removing over 50 shows and movies from their streaming services worldwide. Deadline reports that this is part of a cost-cutting measure as "the industry is rethinking costs and strategy in that arena with a renewed focus on profitability." The projects set to be removed include streaming exclusive projects, which means this could be viewers final chance to see some of these movies, series and specials, as they are currently unavailable either digitally or on physical media (DVD, Blu-Ray, etc.) anywhere else in the world right now. Of the titles set to be removed, some are large scale projects, including the $125 million budgeted fantasy epic Artemis Fowl, high profile sequel series Willow, and Pistol, the mini-series based on the rise of the Sex Pistols, from Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle.
