The movie was supposed to be uploaded to Netflix on Saturday 1 June.

Fans were disappointed to find that the Irish movie Dublin Oldschool was not uploaded to Netflix this weekend, as it was supposed to have been.

The movie was one of the highest grossing Irish films of 2018, and was due to be uploaded to the streaming service on Saturday 1 June, but as fans searched for it this weekend, it was nowhere to be seen.

Creator of the film Emmet Kirwan has released a statement shedding some light on the situation, although he himself seems relatively confused as to why it’s yet to be uploaded.

On his twitter page, he posted a message which read: “I’m sure you may have noticed by now that Dublin Oldschool is not streaming on Netflix. We are trying to get to the bottom of why this is happening, and when it will indeed appear.

“The coming soon section on Netflix is stating June 11, buy that date has never been mentioned before and would be a surprise to all of us. We understand people are disappointed as they were looking forward t watching it this weekend, and trust us when we say share all of those feelings and more.

“Finally, thank you for your patience and positive energy as always. We will update as soon as we have anything more concrete to bring to you.”
