Some tough questioning.

Emma Willis got her chance to speak to Roxanne Pallett on Monday evening in a pre-recorded interview on Celebrity Big Brother.

The Channel 5 host had plenty of questions to ask the actress who left the CBB house after claiming Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas had “punched” her in the ribs “repeatedly” during a play fight scene aired last week.

Thomas was formally warned for the incident following a complaint from Pallett and up until she left the house, Pallett claimed that Thomas was lying.

The accusation quickly provoked an enormous backlash, and Ofcom received 11,000 complaints from the British public, with many feeling that Pallett mischaracterised the incident.

And on Monday night’s Celebrity Big Brother, Willis grilled Pallett on her behaviour, after the former soap star had earlier appeared on Jeremy Vine to apologise.

Willis questioned Pallett on the timeline of her story, before saying: “You could have ruined him”.

Pallett replied: “It’s a lot to deal with. I’m the most hated girl in Britain right now.

“It’s the title I feel everyone’s giving me at the moment and all I can do is own it, accept it, and apologise.

“Everyone that I’ve affected by such an enormous reaction that could’ve been devastating for him.

“All I can say is I’m devastated and I’m sorry.”
