Ready for one more cracker before the summer is over?

It was the best part of a year ago when we first called it, and it looks like we've been proven right.

We said that Crawl was likely to be the most fun movie of 2019, and off the back of the reactions to the first screening of the movie in the States, we feel safe in saying that we are 100% correct.

A group of lucky journos were brought out to the Paramount lot in Hollywood, Calfornia and given an early look at the film, and just take a look at these reviews and try not to be excited.

First up, we have Perri from Collider:

William from Critical Acclaim:

Drew from Moviefone:

Scott from Entertainment Tonight:

Michael from Cinema Blend:

Shannon from Nightmarish:

In case you'd forgotten, Crawl tells the story of a father (Barry Pepper - Saving Private Ryan) and daughter (Kaya Scodelario - The Maze Runner) who get caught in their flooding home after a hurricane hits Florida, but also unleashes a family of alligators in the area that decide to hunt them down.

It is directed by Alexandra Aja (The Hills Have Eyes), and written by friends of The Big Reviewski, Michael and Shawn Rasmussen!

Crawl swims in US cinemas this weekend, but we won't get to see it on Irish screens until Friday 23 August.
