If your better half is a House of Cards fan and has a sense of humour, she’ll very much appreciate one of these come Valentine’s Day.
There are any amount of words one could use to describe the brilliant House of Cards, which, if you’re a fan, we’re sure you’re very aware returns for a second season on Valentine’s Day tomorrow. Yay!
The show itself could be described, for example, as compelling and intelligent and the characters as ambitious and ruthless, but one word that you would not associate with House of Cards is ‘romantic,’ which makes it somewhat ironic that the second season is being launched on supposedly the most romantic day of the year.
Spotting the irony, Irish company The Social House have produced a series of very amusing House of Cards themed Valentine’s Day cards, which will immediately strike a chord with fans of the show and possibly pre-empt an extremely convenient and structured if completely loveless and emotionless Valentine’s Day with your better half tomorrow.
