Game of Thrones actor denies rumours of a major on-set feud with his co-star

Game of Thrones

All is good in the realm.

When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground.

While rumour, secrecy, and lies can topple kingdoms in Westeros, the same can be said for on-set gossip and on that note, during a recent chat at Con of Thrones, a convention for fans of the show that took place in Nashville at the weekend, Jerome Flynn (Bronn) put an end to the rumours of a long-running rift with his former girlfriend, Lena Headey (Cersei).

As reported by The Telegraph a few years ago, Flynn and Headey used to date each other and reportedly had quite a messy break-up.

In fact, the newspaper quoted a crew member as saying that they’re now kept apart on set.

“Jerome and Lena aren’t on speaking terms anymore and they are never in the same room at the same time. It’s a pity because they appeared to have patched things up for a while, but now the word is they should be kept apart at all costs,” a member of the crew told The Telegraph.

However, during the recent convention, the man that plays the newly-appointed Master of Coin said: “We were actually in the same scene together, and the last time I saw Lena we were speaking, so I wouldn’t believe everything you read, and like I said, the media can get pretty desperate for stories. Lena is a wonderful person and a wonderful actress. I think the world of her.”

There you have it.

If you’re looking for further proof that they shared a scene together, here’s one of the few moments when the two actors appeared together in the show.

Take a look at Flynn’s s response to the rumours around the 20-minute mark in the video below.
