Throughout the history of Game of Thrones, we've had conflicting experiences with Ser Jorah 'The Explorer' Mormont. Given the fact that he's an anointed knight, his bravery during the Siege of Pyke made him an established name throughout The North but his subsequent fall from grace is the exact opposite of the statement 'behind every great man, lies a great woman.' After engaging in the illegal slave trade, Ned Stark wanted his head but Jorah skipped Westeros and sought redemption in the Free Cities. It was in Pentos where Bear Island's most famous knight - well, maybe after his dad - entered the services of House Targaryen and from that moment on, the rest, they say, is history. While Game of Thrones fans might treat Jorah the Andal with a degree of ambivalence, the same cannot be said for Iain Glen because the actor is always good value in an interview. Basically, he usually gives away a few tidbits, factoids, and interesting anecdotes about Game of Thrones! On this note, the actor was recently a guest on ITV’s Lorraine and he was happy to chat about the feature-length episodes in Season 8. Of course, there's only going to be six episodes in the final season of the epic fantasy and after hearing this news, April can't come quickly enough. Glen said: “I don’t know how I [survived this long]; I got every disease known to [man],” the actor joked at the expense of his character, before getting down to the juicy information. “April is when it’s all coming out, and they’re all feature-length episodes.
