The charming Irish comedy-drama is well worth checking out.

Our TV movie pick tonight (Saturday, 27 June) is Get Up & Go, the underrated 2014 Irish comedy-drama starring Love/Hate favourites Peter Coonan and Killian Scott.

Set over the course of one eventful day in Dublin, the film follows two lifelong friends as they grapple with the realities of growing up.

Blending comedy with real-life emotion, Get Up & Go is an easy-going Irish watch packed with familiar faces, including Gemma-Leah Devereux, Sarah McCall and Ryan McParland.

While it flew a little under the radar when it was released in cinemas, it's a solid choice if you're in the mood for a homegrown comedy with plenty of heart.

Get Up & Go airs on RTÉ One tonight at 11.30pm.
