Good news because Disneyland Paris is getting a Star Wars and Marvel land

Paul Moore

No excuse not to go now. Perfect for the little kids…and big ones!

If the idea of walking around Disneyland while a bunch of overly-excited kids are screaming at the top of their lungs doesn’t excite you, you might be very happy to know that the popular tourist attraction is adding something that even the big kids will love too.

Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney, was talking with President Emmanuel Macron and they’ve revealed plans to renovate the beloved theme park.

There’s good news for fans of Star Wars, Frozen and the Marvel films because those franchises will inspire three new lands that are being built at Disneyland Paris.

Yep, the Force is strong with this one.

As reported by Deadline, the development will start in 2021 but “prior to that, in 2020, the resort will open Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, a reimagining of Disney’s Hotel New York that will showcase the worlds of Iron Man, The Avengers and Spider-Man, among others.”

Speaking about the new attraction, Iger said: “We’re very excited about the future of Disneyland Paris and continue to invest in its long-term success. The resort is already the leading tourist destination in Europe, and the transformative expansion we announced today will add even more of our beloved characters and unparalleled storytelling to create new lands, attractions and entertainment that further elevate the guest experience and drive new opportunities for tourism in this dynamic region.”

Hell, if the Star Wars land is anything like it’s shaping up to be in the US, we’re definitely going to buy a cheap Ryanair ticket to Paris.
