Tubridy and Norton: Here are the line-ups for the Late Late and Graham Norton

Graham Norton Late Late line up

Two talk show titans. Who gets your vote?

Wait, we did the voting thing last weekend, didn’t we?

As for talk shows, it remains very much a two-party system.

First up this Friday – Valentine’s Day, no less – is Ryan Tubridy and The Late Late Show. The Valentine’s special of the Late Late has become notorious enough in recent years, boasting a rowdy audience and general mayhem.

Last year, however, was a damp squib. What do they have up their sleeve this year, so?

As noted on Thursday, Pat Spillane of The Sunday Game is set to give love advice in the form of an agony uncle of sorts, so that’s box office enough, right?

Aside from that, you’ve got Wet Wet Wet frontman Marti Pellow in the house, performing a couple of tunes and helping Tubs match people in the audience. Should go well.

Want more music? Chesney Hawkes is on hand. The joys. And it wouldn’t be the Valentine’s special without a Blind Date-style three-chair dating game, now would it?

Over in London, Graham Norton has yet another star-studded bill on his red sofa with Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick involved, plugging their new Trolls World Tour movie.

You’ll also hear from Strictly Come Dancing star Obi Matuse and the always lively force of comedy nature that is Alan Carr.

As for the music side of things, Sam Smith will perform their new single ‘To Die For’.

The Graham Norton Show is on BBC One at 10.35pm
