Graham Norton Late Late line up

Staying in tonight?

If you are, there’s a typically star-studded line-up on the couch with Graham, while tonight’s Late Late Show is all about one thing and one thing only.

The Late Late Show

Following the sad passing of Big Tom earlier this week, some of Ireland’s biggest country music stars and those close to the scene in this country will join Ryan Tubridy for a tribute to the singer as part of the Late Late Show’s Country Special.

Daniel O’Donnell, Nathan Carter, Susan McCann, Paddy Cole and Fr Brian D’Arcy will discuss the impact Big Tom had on the Irish country scene, his legacy and why he was one of the most beloved singers in the country.

There will also be plenty of performances of some well-known country classics on the night, including Ronan Keating and Lisa McHugh singing ‘When You Say Nothing At All’, Derek Ryan and Sandy Kelly singing ‘Islands in the Stream’ and Nathan Carter and Cliona Hagan performing ‘Hurts So Good’.

Also in attendance on the night will be Gloria, Philomena Begley, Jimmy Buckley, Declan Nerney, Mike Denver, Michael English and Robert Mizzell in what is a must-watch for country music fans on RTÉ One at 9.35pm.

The Graham Norton Show

  • Benedict Cumberbatch – Ahead of the release of one of the most anticipated movies of 2018 next week, the man who plays Doctor Strange will be on with Graham to talk all things Avengers: Infinity War
  • Matt LeBlanc – Now something of a mainstay on television on this side of the world, the man best known as Joey Tribbiani will be talking about the final series of Episodes and maybe a bit of Top Gear too.
  • Maxine Peake – You’ve seen her in Shameless and in Black Mirror and now Maxine Peake will be turning her attention to playing a 1970s club comedian in Funny Cow, which is already attracting great reviews.
  • Mary Berry and Claudia Winkleman – Cooking shows dominate the television landscape because they’ve proven to be so damn popular and Berry (no stranger to the scene) and Winkleman will chat to Graham about the latest addition to the series, Britain’s Best Cook.
  • Music from Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa, who will perform their new single, ‘One Kiss’.
