As seen in Return of the Jedi…
Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas played host to a movie-themed auction on Saturday, with a weapon made famous by Harrison Ford among the most eye-catching items up for grabs.
In the end, Han Solo’s signature blaster as sported in Return of the Jedi sold to the highest bidder for a cool $550,000 at the Hollywood Legends auction.
A smash-and-grab worthy of Solo’s own escapades, it was the top-selling item at the casino resort when all was said and done.
Specialist auctioneers Julien’s Auctions reports that the futuristic cannon was purchased by Ripley’s Believe It or Not, rather than a private collector.
