Late Late Show line up

In conversation this week…

The Late Late is back on Good Friday and you no longer need to wonder who will be appearing on the programme this week.

RTÉ has revealed that Derry Girls star Jamie-Lee O’Donnell will be one of the guests joining host Ryan Tubridy.

O’Donnell plays Michelle in the hit comedy show and will be discussing its third and final season which premiered this week to rave reviews, with one particular cameo being singled out for praise.

On top of this, Cathy Wheatley will appear on the Late Late to discuss evacuating her Ukrainian surrogate from war.

Ivana Holub is the surrogate mother to Cathy’s twins and now Ivana and her three children are living with Cathy, Cathy’s husband and the twins.

Immunologist Professor Luke O’Neill will also talk about his experiences volunteering in Slovakia to deliver humanitarian supplies to Ukraine while former Irish President Mary McAleese returns to the programme to discuss the ongoing conflict.

Young Ukrainian dancer Taya Shvets, who fled the country with her mother and her brother, will perform on the show, as will Dublin singer Shobsy.

As well as this, some of the biggest names in the Irish country music scene – Declan Nerney, Gloria, Jimmy Buckley, Robert Mizzell and Trudi Lalor – will make an appearance to mark the anniversary of Big Tom.

This week’s Late Late episode airs on RTÉ One on Friday, 15 April at 9.35pm.
