Another brilliant Irish film.

“Do you wanna get your throat slit?”

Welcome to #TrailerChest, where we’re taking a sneak peek at the brand new trailer for Michael Inside.

Plot’s it all about?

Michael McCrea, an impressionable 18-year-old living with his grandfather Francis in a Dublin housing estate gets caught holding a bag of drugs for his friend’s older brother and is sentenced to three months in prison.

Director Frank Berry said: “We are delighted to be working with Wildcard Distribution on the Irish release of Michael Inside, who have shown great passion for our film. Researched over eighteen months with former prisoners the film is an expression of many real-life experiences, and we very much look forward to Irish audiences seeing it.”

Michael Inside sees Berry once again working with Dafhyd Flynn, who gives a moving performance as Michael after previously worked together on the critically acclaimed I Used To Live Here.

The film will have its world premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh this month and will also be the topic of a panel session at the Fleadh Forum which will delve into the area of independent filmmaking looking at the creative approach taken by the filmmakers and discussing how to maximise limited resources to the best effect.

Starring:  Dafhyd Flynn, Lalor Roddy and Moe Dunford

Directed by: Frank Berry

Irish release date: TBC. Being played at the Galway Film Fleadh July 14, 2017.
