Irish people wanted as part of Netflix’s huge global reality TV casting call

Pretty much everyone we know has become obsessed with Love Island in the last few weeks, which just goes to show how popular reality TV is. Netflix is very aware of this popularity, having dedicated an entire section of its library to creating new and entertaining reality TV shows, and it has just announced its biggest reality TV casting call EVER. Just some of the shows that you could potentially feature in include:

• Too Hot to Handle
• Love Is Blind
• Dream Home Makeover
• Floor Is Lava
• Get Organized with The Home Edit
• Sparking Joy with Marie Kondo
• The Circle
• Indian Matchmaking
• The American Barbeque Showdown
• Roaring Twenties

Brandon Riegg, the Vice President of Unscripted and Documentary Series at Netflix, had this to say about the global casting call: "Reality TV is a powerful genre. It has the ability to make you invested in who is going to win the big competition or find true love (or at least a good showmance). It also has the ability to bring people together from all walks of life. We love to hear from viewers who feel inspired and accepted after seeing themselves reflected in our shows. After all, what is reality TV if it doesn’t represent real people? "That’s why today I’m excited to announce several new and returning unscripted series, as well as an innovative new way for our reality fans to join in on the fun."
