Everyone’s favourite swashbuckling, archaeological hero could be back on the silver screen in the not too distant future. Rumours have surfaced that Harrison Ford is in negotiations with Disney, who also want him to reprise his role as Han Solo for the new Star Wars films.

Ford has the bargaining power here as he is apparently telling Disney that the only way he will come back as Han Solo is if they agree to let him make two more Indiana Jones movies. You have to go back to 1983 for when Ford last played the iconic Han Solo in Star Wars Episode VI – The Return Of The Jedi. We are not sure what to make of this if all this is true. Indy might not be as athletic as he has been in previous films.

He was 66 in the last film of the series, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (pic above). It was probably the weakest one of the entire series and we hope that this pattern doesn’t continue, if indeed these two films are to be made.

Indiana Jones and the Retirement Fund? Maybe that’s unfair, but we’d love to hear your suggestions for possible new Indy film titles, so feel free to let us know in the comment box below.
