Jamie Foxx was spotted in Chicago on Monday, returning a woman her purse, just a day after he was pictured for the first time since his 'medical complication'.
An Instagram user named Quan Ellis posted a clip of the friendly interaction, alongside the caption: “Mom lost her bag in Chicago today Jamie Foxx found it and brought it to her and he said he feels good y’all god is good.”

It's not the Oscar winner's first stint doing a good deed in public. In 2016, he rescued a man from a burning vehicle after the car crashed outside of his home.

Foxx hadn't been seen in public until this week since he was admitted to hospital for a "medical condition" in April.
Details were scarce about his hospitalization, which led to conflicting reports circulating the web. The 55-year-old's daughter was prompted to post on Instagram debunking one outlet's report that Foxx's family are "hoping for the best but preparing for the worst."
"Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating," the 29-year-old announced.

broke his silence on social media in early May, thanking fans for their support by saying, "Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed". However, he didn't offer any further details on his condition.
