Blood Father, Gibson plays John link, an ex-con that's forced to reunite with his estranged wayward 17-year old daughter as he bids to to protect her from drug dealers who are trying to kill her.
Jean-François Richet is the director on this one, he made the brilliant Mesrine films, and the action is gritty, cerebral and tough as nails. The character suits Gibson perfectly and we got a chance to talk with the Oscar winner about the role and more.
It has been over 20 years since Braveheart was filmed in Ireland and Gibson was more than happy to share some memories with JOE's
