An in-depth look at the comedian’s difficult 2019.

Kevin Hart has had a tumultuous 2019, to say the least.

The comedian and actor was lined up to host the Academy Awards, only to step down after homophobic jokes he made in the past resurfaced.

Months later, Hart suffered major injuries in a car crash that took place in Malibu, California.

Aside from that he’s kept busy enough, avoiding cancellation and starring in the likes of Hobbs & Shaw and Jumanji: The Next Level.

In between, Netflix put cameras in front of Hart, capturing footage for a forthcoming documentary.

Kevin Hart: Don’t F**k This Up promises “unprecedented access” to Hart’s life over the past year, showcasing the trials and tribulations thereof.

“Viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look at Kevin’s day-to-day life as he deals with the fallout from the Oscar controversy, his marriage and his growing career,” notes a Netflix preview.

“The series includes interviews with Hart’s friends and family, rare archival footage from his childhood and early stand-up days and personal anecdotes from the comic himself.”

Don’t F**k This Up hits Netflix on Friday 27 December.
