Last Passenger, an extremely tense 2013 British thriller, is airing on TV tonight (Saturday, 4 October).
The movie revolves around Dr. Lewis Shaler (Dougray Scott, Mission: Impossible II), who boards a night train from London with his young son.
As he bonds with a friendly fellow passenger, Sarah (Kara Tointon, the upcoming Hunger Games movie), the doctor witnesses a series of strange incidents outside their carriage.
When the train later hurtles past their stops, Lewis and the others onboard gradually come to realise that the vehicle has been hijacked and that the new driver is carrying out a very dark plan.
Last Passenger only received a limited cinema release but earned rave reviews from critics.
In particular, its great cast full of recognisable British thespians (including David Schofield, Iddo Goldberg and Lindsay Duncan), its taut and tight Hitchcockian screenplay, and its impressive special effects were singled out for praise.
Holding an 86% score on Rotten Tomatoes, the film is airing tonight/tomorrow morning on the channel Legend Xtra at 1.05am.
It is also available to watch for free on the ad-supported streaming service Plex.
