Graham Norton Late Late line up

If you’re staying in, by no means a given considering the weekend that’s in it, here’s who will be on with Ryan and Graham tonight.

The Late Late Show

The great Colin Farrell will be in studio representing DEBRA Ireland, a charity providing support to patients and families living with the debilitating skin condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

Colin will be joined by EB sufferer Emma Fogarty to discuss what it’s like to live with the condition, and how their friendship has blossomed through their work with the charity.

While we miss his regular appearances on screen, Bryan Dobson’s voice still acts like chocolate for the ears on Morning Ireland and that familiar tone will be guiding the studio audience and hundreds of thousands watching on at home through what has been a tumultuous 2018.

Everything from the Beast from the East, a heatwave, two referenda, a presidential campaign and Brexit negotiations will be up for discussion as ‘Dobbo’ and Ryan Tubridy take a look back at some of the images which best represent the stand-out news stories of 2018.

With only a few days left to Christmas, a large portion of us have to decided to ditch the diet and indulge ourselves for the next week or so, and food and drink experts, Currabinny’s James Kavanagh and William Murray, will be on hand to tell us how to do just that.

There’ll also be a master brewer from the Artisan Brew Academy in Dublin to explain how you can brew your own beer, and Christmas ham is front and centre in a chat with pig farmer Ivan Belton and butcher Clive Clarke.

On a sadder note, Derek O’Connor, who lost his wife Maeve to bowel cancer, will join Ryan to chat about grief and how he and his three children deal with the death of his wife in the run up to Christmas.

Brendan Grace, nearing 50 years in showbiz, will be on hand to provide some laughs and there’ll be music from the Palestrina Choir, and John Gibbons featuring Nina Nesbitt.

The Late Late Show is on RTÉ One at 9.35pm

The Graham Norton Show

It’s a Mary Poppins-fest on Graham Norton tonight as the cast of Mary Poppins Returns – Emily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw and Emily Mortimer – join him on the couch.

There will also be music from Boy George and Culture Club, who’ll be performing ‘Life’.

The Graham Norton Show is on BBC One at 10.35pm and BBC One Northern Ireland at 11.05pm.
