And while all the talk is about movies from the actual Marvel Cinematic Universe these days, there is definitely a case to be made that the best superhero movie in recent times wasn’t a part of the MCU at all.
Audiences fell in love with Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse for a number of reasons.
The story was brilliant, the voice acting was great, there was twists and turns throughout, and the soundtrack is a 10/10. It even picked up two Oscars!
And if sounds like the sequel is going to be just as good.
Producer Chris Miller took to Twitter to praise the progression of the Spider-Verse sequel, saying: “The development of new groundbreaking art techniques being done for the next Spider-Verse movie are already blowing me away. It’s going to make the first movie look quaint.”

Damn.
There has been no official title released for the movie, and it’s not expected to be released until October of 2022, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start getting excited for it already.
