Love Actually screening with live orchestra performance coming to Dublin this December

Rory Cashin

Perfect Christmas viewing.

Whether you love Love Actually or hate Hate Love Actually, you definitely know someone who thinks it is absolutely unmissable whenever Christmas times rolls around.

Watching the festive falling-in-and-out-of-love of Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Laura Linney, Bill Nighy, Martine McCutcheon, Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightley, Rowan Atkinson, and Martin Freeman is now an annual must-watch, alongside a Bond movie, a Harry Potter movie, and Die Hard.

Well, to switch up the routine this year, maybe you can head along to this screening of the movie, which will be accompanied by a live orchestra, performing Craig Armstrong’s iconic score.

It seems unlikely they’ll also be performing some of the crackers that were on the movie’s soundtrack – ‘Too Lost In You’ in the Sugababes is still liable to make us cry – but we can but hope.

The screening will be on the evening of Wednesday 4 December (perfect ‘getting into the Christmas mood’ time!) at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, and tickets are available to buy right here, right now.

Yes, it would’ve made a perfect Christmas present for someone, but if you think you’re going to get away giving someone their Christmas present three weeks early, you’ve got another thing coming.

Now, sing along with us… “Baby, I’m tooooo lost in yoooouuu….”
