Love Island voting figures have been revealed, and it was an incredibly close call for 2nd place

Love Island reunion

The amount that Dani and Jack won by is absolutely shocking.

Look, we know it is over.

You know it is over.

They’ve tried to replace it with the Australian version, and we’ve even listed a few recommendations to help fill that hole, but it is time to face facts.

Love Island is over, and there’s nothing we can do or say that will change that.

Massive congratulation to Dani and Jack (#TeamJani) on winning the competition this year, but with the voting figures released, we can see that it wasn’t anything approaching a close race.

However, it was EXTREMELY close for those who would eventually come in 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

According to Digital Spy, this is the breakdown of the results:

1st – Dani and Jack – 79.66%

2nd – Laura and Paul – 8.43%

3rd – Kaz and Josh – 6.05%

4th – Megan and Wes – 5.86%

Yep, that is just 0.19% of the vote between 3rd and 4th place, so it really was a very close run thing.

Unless you were team Jani all along, in which case you can’t even see Laura and Paul behind you, because that is just how far behind they were.

Bring on 2019’s edition already!!!
