DCI John Luther is back.
Netflix has confirmed that Idris Elba will be starring as John Luther once more in a brand new feature film featuring Andy Serkis and Cynthia Erivo.
“Idris Elba will reprise his iconic role — joined by Cynthia Erivo and Andy Serkis — in a new feature film written by series creator Neil Cross,” notes the official Netflix statement on the matter.
It will be the first time that Elba has starred as the gritty detective since 2019, when the television show aired its fifth series on the BBC.
