Mamma Mia Dublin

Here we go again.

2018 was a pretty huge year for musicals.

Three of the biggest movies of the year were A Star Is Born, The Greatest Showman and Bohemian Rhapsody and although not all of them are strictly musicals, each of them definitely appeal to fans of the genre.

And 2019 is off to a pretty good start too, as it has been confirmed that Mamma Mia!, one of the most successful musicals of all time, will be coming to Dublin.

The ABBA celebration will take to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from 10 December 2019 until 5 January 2020.

Although that does sound like it’s quite a while away, tickets go on sale on 8 March, so you only a week to wait to make sure you’ll be there.

Tickets are priced from €25 to €65.

Judy Craymer, Creator and Producer of Mamma Mia!, said: “We are very excited that Mamma Mia! will be returning to Dublin once again.

“It is a big year for the show as we celebrate 20 years in the West End and we are so thrilled that Dublin will be a part of the celebrations.

“We can’t wait to bring the feel-good story and much-loved music of ABBA back to the wonderful audiences in Dublin.”
