Our TV movie pick for this evening (Thursday, 16 July) is Memento, the 2000 neo-noir crime thriller.
The breakthrough film for legendary writer-director Christopher Nolan, its story follows Leonard Shelby (Guy Pearce, The Brutalist), a former insurance investigator with short-term memory loss.
Despite being unable to retain new memories, he endeavours to track down the man who murdered his wife.
Memento was renowned upon release for its inventive narrative structure. Much of its story is told in reverse to mirror the mental state of the lead character.
You can check out our review of Nolan's adaptation of the Ancient Greek epic poem right here, ahead of its release in cinemas tomorrow (Friday, 17 July).
Memento is airing on TV tonight on Film4 at 11.10pm. The thriller is also available to rent on Apple TV, Google Play, and the Sky Store.

Tom Holland's second solo outing as Spidey.
Also boasting terrific supporting performances from Matrix alums Carrie-Anne Moss and Joe Pantoliano, the movie wound up serving as a great calling card for Nolan - who went on to make the Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, the Oscar Best Picture winner Oppenheimer, and most recently The Odyssey.
