FALL – 2 September

Having already made $1.9 billion at the box office first time around, this extended cut – titled The More Fun Stuff Version – will feature 11 minutes of additional and deleted scenes.

If you’re not up for a cinema trip, there here is all of the stuff you can watch at home this weekend, starting with…

THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER

The single most expensive TV show ever made! A reported budget of $650 million just for the first season, this prequel takes place thousands of years before the events of The Hobbit Trilogy and The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, detailing the rise of Sauron and the last alliance between man and dwarves.

The first two episodes of the show arrive on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, 2 September, with the rest of the series arriving weekly after that.

BELFAST

Kenneth Branagh writes and directs this gorgeous coming-of-age biopic drama. Set against the beginning of the Troubles in 1969, this seven-time Oscar-nominated movie stars Jamie Dornan, Caitríona Balfe, Judi Dench, and Ciarán Hinds.

The movie is available to watch with a NOW Cinema Membership from Friday, 2 September.

DATED & RELATED

We’re really not sure how to feel about this one… A reality dating show in which siblings try to wing-person each other into finding love… but then remain present throughout most of the awkward stuff that tends to happen when you go on a first date on television, with your brother or sister tagging along for the ride. Yikes.

All episodes arrive on Netflix on Friday, 2 September.
