Stephen Dorff plays a Secret Service Agent held captive in the trunk of a car by terrorists in this Buried-style thriller.
Cliffhanger - ITV4 - 10pm
Our pick for tonight is this '90s action thriller about a former mountain rescuer named Gabe (Sylvester Stallone) who, traumatised after a deadly incident, is persuaded to go assist a group of stranded hikers.
However, upon meeting the hikers, Gabe realises that they are actually a gang of violent criminals (led by John Lithgow) that need help locating millions of stolen dollars missing over the mountain after a plane crash.
Directed by Renny Harlin of Deep Blue Sea and Die Hard 2 fame - noteworthy as Cliffhanger is basically Die Hard on a mountain - this Sylvester Stallone vehicle features an incredibly tense and memorable opening scene, some amazing stunt work and a fun villainous turn from Lithgow.

The fourth entry in the long-running horror franchise.
Sweeney! - Legend - 10.50pm
A 1977 movie extension of the hit UK cop show The Sweeney.
Point Break - Turner Classic Movies - 11pm
Not the brilliant Kathryn Bigelow original but the 2015 remake with 11% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The Vatican Tapes - Horror Xtra - 11pm
A supernatural horror made by one of the directors behind the Crank films.
Maggie - AMC - 11pm
Arnold Schwarzenegger stars in this emotional horror drama as a father whose daughter (Abigail Breslin) becomes infected with a zombie virus.
