Your Tuesday evening movie menu has arrived.
Tuesday? More like Choose Day. Lol. Anyways, here are tonight’s movies…
Men In Black: International – RTÉ2 – 9pm
Rebooting the MIB formula with a sexy duo of Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson makes a lot of sense. What doesn’t make sense is how bland this rebootquel ended up being.
Old School – Comedy Central – 9pm
“You’re my boy, Blue!”
Beverly Hills Cop – Sky Showcase – 9pm
The movie that effectively put Eddie Murphy on the Hollywood map, and for a while, we were all the better for it!
Olympus Has Fallen – FilmFour – 9pm
What if Die Hard but in the White House? Gerard Butler’s pure violence makes this a more interesting watch than the similarly plotted White House Down.
Renegades – ITV4 – 9.45pm
A not-great action drama starring Kiefer Sutherland and Lou Diamond Phillips.
Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool – BBC Two – 11.15pm
A young actor (Jamie Bell) and an aging starlet (Annette Bening) have their relationship put to the test by tragic circumstances.
Bad Times At The El Royale – FilmFour – 11.20pm
Our big pick for tonight is Bad Times At The El Royale, a twisted, Tarantino-y crime thriller which recently celebrated its five-year anniversary. With a star-packed cast including Jeff Bridges, Cynthia Erivo, Dakota Johnson, Jon Hamm and Chris Hemsworth, it tells the story of a group of strangers who meet in an isolated hotel, but they haven’t all met there by accident… If you miss it tonight, Bad Times At The El Royale is available to watch on Disney+.
