Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle - Film4 - 8pm
The third entry in the Jumanji film series, which started off with the excellent 1995 flick, Welcome to the Jungle stars Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart and Jack Black.
The film focuses on three kids who find a video game version of Jumanji, only to become trapped in the game as a set of adult avatars, seeking to complete a quest alongside another player who has been trapped since 1996.
24 Hours to Live - Turner Classic Movies - 8pm
This 2017 science fiction thriller follows a career assassin who goes on a rampage to exact revenge and find redemption after he is mortally wounded and brought back to life for 24 hours using a newly developed technology.
Ethan Hawke stars alongside Qing Xu, Paul Anderson and Rutger Hauer in one of his final film roles.
Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw - RTÉ1 - 9pm
If you had too much of the Fast & Furious direct storyline, have a go at this spin-off from 2019 starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham.
Hulking lawman Luke Hobbs (Johnson) and lawless outcast Deckard Shaw (Statham) must put their differences aside and team up when a cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist gains control of an insidious bio-threat that could alter humanity forever.
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues - Film4 - 10.20pm
If you're in the mood for some comedy then look no further than Film4 this evening. Will Ferrell is back as Ron Burgundy and slimier than ever. Reassembling his team of sidekicks, he swiftly rises from a 24 hour news network's graveyard to become its biggest star with a run of ludicrously sensationalist broadcasts. Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd and Steve Carell support.
The Purge - ITV4 - 11.20pm
This 2013 horror flick based around a very simple premise birthed a slew of sequels. Basically, the American government responds to rising crime rates by introducing an annual 12-hour period when all laws are suspended, so the people can get violent impulses out of their system.
The film received mixed reviews on its release but saw huge box-office profits, receiving $89.3 million during its run, against its $3 million budget. There's been four sequels since and a fifth is on the way.
Darkest Hour - BBC1 - 11.40pm

Our pick for tonight involves one of Gary Oldman's most transformative and iconic roles of his career.
The film focuses around the early tenure of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill as he refuses to seek peace with Nazi Germany during the Second World War amid their advance into Western Europe.
Many describe Oldman's performance as the best of his career, with the actor winning the Academy Award, Golden Globe and Bafta Award for Best Actor.
Triple 9 - Film4 - 12.40pm
Chiwetel Ejiofor, Casey Affleck, Kate Winslet and Woody Harrelson all star in this crime thriller about a gang of corrupt cops who carry out bank robberies under the noses of their law-abiding colleagues.
Blackmailed into carrying out a seemingly impossible heist by the Russian Mob, they realise the only way to carry out the crime is to kill a police officer as a diversion.
