That’s right, every single week.

While movie lovers worldwide continue to pine for a return to cinemas, Netflix subscribers certainly won’t have a shortage of options to tide them over until it is safe to do so.

This week, Netflix announced that a brand new movie will be released on the streaming service every week throughout 2021, featuring some of the biggest names in the business.

The stars featuring in Netflix’s movie slate for 2021 include *pauses for breath* Leonardo DiCaprio, Sandra Bullock, Dwayne Johnson, Idris Elba, Meryl Streep, Zendaya, Jennifer Lawrence, Ryan Reynolds, Jennifer Garner, Gal Gadot, Dave Bautista, Naomi Watts, Jake Gyllenhaal, John David Washington and Octavia Spencer *exhales*.

On the directing side, meanwhile, there will be offerings from Zack Snyder, Nora Fingscheidt, Joe Wright, Antoine Fuqua, Shawn Levy, Robert Pulcini and Shari Springer Berman, as well directorial debuts from Halle Berry and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Amongst the movies coming the way of Netflix subscribers over the next 12 months are films on zombies (Army of the Dead), cowboys (The Harder They Fall, Concrete Cowboy), and high school romance (including the culmination of the To All the Boys and The Kissing Booth trilogies).

Of the many titles on the slate, one that has caught our eye is Don’t Look Up, which tells the story of two astronomers warning mankind about a comet that will destroy Earth, which stars Leonardo Di Caprio and Jennifer Lawrence and is directed by Adam McKay.

Elsewhere, it’s worth keeping an eye on Munich, starring Jeremy Irons and based on the best-selling book by Robert Harris, which documents an emergency conference in the German city in 1938 on the brink of World War II.

Some of the stars mentioned above can be seen giving a sneak preview of what’s in store below…
