Netflix quietly adds 13 very big movies to its library

New Netflix additions have your weekend viewing sorted.

Between all of the new additions to Netflix announced for July, and the recently announced most-watched shows and movies on Netflix in 2023 so far, there is a lot to get through! And on top of those, here are 13 more movies to their library:

DEEPWATER HORIZON

Mark Wahlberg headlines this all-star thriller which details the true-life events of a disastrous oil rig explosion.

FOUR LIONS

One of the most controversial and darkly funny comedies of recent years.

THE HEARTBREAK KID

Ben Stiller and Michelle Monaghan star in this very adult romantic comedy about two people who fall in love… while one of them is on their honeymoon.

I GIVE IT A YEAR

The friends and family of a loved-up couple, played by Rafe Spall and Rose Byrne, put a bet down on how long their marriage will last.

MATILDA THE MUSICAL

One of the best family movies of recent years.

MONEYBALL

Not to get into hyperbole here, but many people consider this to be the best sports movie ever made.

NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN

An exceptional thriller, with a cop (Tommy Lee Jones) chasing down an assassin (Javier Bardem), who is chasing down a man (Josh Brolin) who happened across the aftermath of a violent crime scene.

PEOPLE JUST DO NOTHING: BIG IN JAPAN

RUN RABBIT RUN

Sarah Snook of Succession fame stars in this Netflix exclusive horror about a mother who is fearful that her young daughter appears to possess some impossible memories.

THE TRUMAN SHOW

Recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, Jim Carrey’s best comedy was originally intended as a horror movie.

THE UNINVITED

Emily Browning and Elizabeth Banks star in this creepy thriller remake of the Korean classic A Tale of Two Sisters.

WATCHMEN

This adaptation of an epic graphic novel actually seems to get better as the years go by.

WIN A DATE WITH TAD HAMILTON

A small town girl (Kate Bosworth) wins a date with a Hollywood star (Josh Duhamel), but also discovers her best friend (Topher Grace) has a crush on her. A decent rom-com.
