The new season of Podge and Rodge are looking for audience members

Paul Moore

Any feckless rogues and scuttering gobsheens fancy it?

D-list Irish celebrities, spoofers and absolute chancers are probably crapping their jocks right now because as reported previously, Pádraig Judas O’Leprosy and Rodraig Spartacus O’Leprosy are coming back to Ballydung Manor.

This time around, Doireann Garrihy will be their co-host and the producers are looking for a few audience members to join in and watch the madness unfold.

The lads want you and your mates sit in and watch their highly-anticipated return.

As they say on their official website, those in attendance can: “Expect roasting celebrity interviews in the Ballydung Manor Kitchen. Scorchingly great music in the parlour and, of course, Doireann Garrihy; impressionist, comedian and a woman who doesn’t quite know what she’s letting herself in for.”

Well, as they famously said, we expect plenty of people will be “off like a debs dress” to apply after hearing this news and here are all the relevant details.

The show is recorded on Sunday evenings at RTÉ studios, Donnybrook, Dublin 4.

At present, there are a limited number of tickets available for the preview show on Sunday 7 October and there’s a maximum of four tickets per applicant.

Audience members are called at 7.30pm and the show will be over by 10.00pm.

If you’re application is successful and you get to enter the studio, we fully expect the lads to say: “You’re as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit.”

Podge and Rodge, how we missed you.

All details regarding the application process can be found here.
