A long time ago (today) in a galaxy (studio) far, far away (just over in England)…
To say that JOE’s excited about this photo is just a little bit of an understatement.
Following on from the crackin’ casting news that revealed the first starring names for the brand new Star Wars film – the as yet unnamed Episode VII (Blue Harvest anyone?) – director J.J. Abrams’ production company Bad Robot this morning tweeted the first official image from the set of the new film.
The pic of the clapboard, which you can see in the tweet below, features the director’s name, as well as the (hopefully-magnificent) movie’s cinematographer, Dan Mindel, all topped off with the hashtag #dayone.
It’s time to dust down the aul lightsabers folks…

Don’t forget to also check out JOE’s interview with super Star Wars star-of-the-future, Domhnall Gleeson. Go on, do it. What are you waiting for?
