Anaconda Jennifer Lopez and Jon Voight star in this fun adventure horror set in the Amazon rainforest. Analysis This/Analysis That Both the Billy Crystal/Robert De Niro comedies. Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me/Austin Powers in Goldmember Only the two sequels have been added for some reason. The original is on Netflix though. Beetlejuice With its long-awaited sequel finally on the way soon, what better time to check out the classic '80s horror comedy. Black Mass Johnny Depp is notorious Boston mobster Whitey Bulger in this solid crime epic. Blade Runner/Blade Runner 2049 Which of these sci-fi masterpieces do you prefer? Blood Father Mel Gibson stars as an ex-con who reunites with his estranged wayward 17-year old daughter in order to protect her from drug dealers who are trying to kill her. The Bone Collector Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie hunt for a serial killer in this watchable crime thriller. Cry Macho The aforementioned Clint Eastwood's final Western.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Brad Pitt ages backwards in this epic drama from director David Fincher (Seven). Deep Blue Sea We'll never forget this LL Cool J song for the movie. Don't Breathe Avatar's Stephen Lang is terrifying in this extremely taut horror-thriller. The Disaster Artist A winning comedy about the making of The Room, the Citizen Kane of bad movies. Fallen Denzel Washington, again, this time in his only supernatural movie, which recently had its 25th anniversary.

Fist Fight A school-set comedy with Charlie Day and Ice Cube. Focus Margot Robbie and Will Smith pull off some cons in this very watchable crime comedy. Gandhi Ben Kingsley won an Oscar for his title lead role in this biographical epic. Hellboy The wonderful 2004 superhero flick with Ron Perlman as the titular red-skinned demon. Hollow Man Kevin Bacon stars in this dark riff on The Invisible Man story from the director of Basic Instinct and RoboCop. The Hunger Games franchise All four movies except the currently in cinemas The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds. Johnny Mnemonic Keanu Reeves plays a man with an overloaded brain implant designed to store information in this '90s cyberpunk action movie. The Kill Room In this new dark comedy thriller featuring Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman, a hitman becomes an avant-garde art sensation. The Grinch The 2018 animated version with Benedict Cumberbatch. The Jim Carrey-starring version is also on Prime Video. Holmes & Watson Will Ferrell is Holmes and John C. Reilly is Watson in this critically panned spoof. Landscape with Invisible Hand One of the best sci-fi movies of 2023.

Lapsis This unique and interesting 2020 sci-fi indie centres on a man who, struggling to support himself and his ailing younger brother, takes a job in a strange new realm of the gig economy. The Last of the Mohicans "You stay alive, no matter what occurs! I will find you! No matter how long it takes, no matter how far. I will find you!" Layer Cake Daniel Craig's sort of audition for 007 also doubles as a pretty great crime thriller. Life A very good Alien-style sci-fi horror starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson and Ryan Reynolds. My Best Friend's Wedding The beloved rom-com with Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz. Paul Blart: Mall Cop/Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 Double Blart for your buck. The Pledge Sean Penn directs this sadly underseen thriller starring Jack Nicholson as a retiring police detective who pledges to catch the killer of a young child. One of the best films on this list.

Rough Night A bachelor party goes really wrong in this underrated raunchy comedy starring Scarlett Johansson. Sausage Party Seth Rogen leads an ensemble voice cast in this very adult adult animated comedy. Sleepless in Seattle One of, and maybe the best of, three rom-coms Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks starred in together. The To Do List Another raunchy comedy, this time starring the great Aubrey Plaza. Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning Also titled Universal Soldier 4, this direct-to-streaming Universal Soldier sequel is actually one of the best action movies of recent years. The Wedding Singer One of Adam Sandler's very best comedies. Zombieland/Zombieland: Double Tap The two zom-rom-coms. Read more:
