Look no further, here’s a host of new movies now on Amazon Prime…

ALAN PARTRIDGE: ALPHA PAPA

Steve Coogan’s feature length outing as the modern comedy legend, this time finding himself in the middle of a hostage situation at his local radio station.

ALPHA

A young warrior (Kodi-Smit McPhee) abandoned by his tribe forges a friendship with an injured wolf left behind by its pack.

CHOPPING MALL

Truly, an awful movie. But one of those oh-so-bad-you-need-to-see-it camp classic kind of bad.

CLOSED CIRCUIT

Eric Bana and Rebecca Hall star in this paranoid thriller from the Irish director of Intermission.

CYRANO

A very charming romantic drama, with Peter Dinklage taking the lead role of a talented wordsmith who feels his feelings for the beautiful woman in his town will never be requited.

GOODNIGHT MOMMY

Naomi Watts fronts this remake of the hit Belgian horror about two young boys who believe their mother has been replaced by a stranger.

HALLOWEEN III: SEASON OF THE WITCH

The one where Michael Myers isn’t actually in it. Arguably the second best of the series.

HANNIBAL RISING

Did you ever want to know what made Hannibal a cannibal? Well, guess no longer, as this frightfully dull movie will fill in the blanks that nobody asked for.

HOLMES & WATSON

Arguably the worst movie on Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly’s CVs.

THE HUNDRED FOOT JOURNEY

The creator of Peaky Blinders provided the script for this romantic drama about the owner (Helen Mirren) of a fancy French restaurant who goes to culinary war with a new eatery that opens up right across the road.

INSIDIOUS & INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2

The first of these horror movies is actually very decent, with Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne discovering their young son has been singularly haunted by a demon. Despite definitely seeing it, we can’t remember a single thing about the sequel.

JOHN WICK 2

Keanu Reeves continues to get revenge against an entire city of professional assassins. A very good action movie.

LAPWING

A young woman in 1555 England struggles against her small community’s tyrannical leader. 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE

Batman (Will Arnett) gets his own LEGO spin-off after the very successful LEGO Movie. Michael Cera as the over-enthusiastic Robin steals the show.

THE QUIET

Camilla Belle and Elisha Cuthbert star in this dark psychological thriller set within a family with some terrible, dark secrets.

RED LIGHTS

Robert De Niro, Cillian Murphy and Sigourney Weaver star in this okay-ish psychological thriller set within the world of psychics.

SLAUGHTERHOUSE RULEZ

Michael Sheen, Nick Frost and Simon Pegg are teachers at a boarding school that happens to be built upon an ancient evil. A mix of horror and comedy ensues.

WARM BODIES

A rom-com set within the world of a zombie apocalypse, with a human (Teresa Palmer) and a zombie (Nicholas Hault) falling for each other.

WE’RE THE MILLERS

Jennifer Aniston, Jason Sudekis, Emma Roberts and Will Poulter star in this raunchy comedy about a group of strangers pretending to be a family so they can smuggle drugs across state lines.
