THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL This remake of the classic sci-fi drama sees Keanu Reeves as an alien visitor who has been tasked with getting humanity to change their ways, or eradicate them entirely. DOG Channing Tatum stars and co-directs this comedy drama road-trip about an army ranger who has been ordered to transport the military dog of his friend, who was killed in action. It is actually pretty good. FURY A tense WWII action-drama revolving around an all-star cast - Brad Pitt, Shia LeBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Pena, Jon Bernthal, Scott Eastwood - who play a US tank crew fighting the Germans during the last weeks of the war. JUSTICE LEAGUE The bad Joss Whedon version, not the better Zack Snyder director's cut. LICORICE PIZZA Modern directing genius Paul Thomas Anderson helms this tale of young love, with Cooper (son of Philip Seymour) Hoffman as a young man who develops a crush on an older woman (Alana Haim, one third of famous musical act Haim). SAMARITAN A brand new arrival, featuring Sylvester Stallone as a down-on-his-luck guy who may or may not actually be a retired superhero. SE7EN Brad Pitt again, this time co-starring with Morgan Freeman in one of the greatest serial killer thrillers ever made. SULLY Clint Eastwood directs Tom Hanks in this biopic of the famous pilot who successfully landed a crashing plane on the Hudson River in New York with zero deaths – but did he make the right call? WE ARE YOUR FRIENDS Zac Efron, Emily Ratajkowski and Wes Bentley star in this drama about an up-and-coming DJ trying to make it in the cut-throat music industry.
