Psychological thriller The Deceived, starring Paul Mescal, lands on Netflix today
The creepy programme was created by Derry Girls creator Lisa McGee and her husband Tobias Beer.
Good news for fans of all things creepy as psychological thriller series, The Deceived, starring Paul Mescal and Emmett J Scanlan has just dropped on Netflix on Sunday.
The Deceived, which aired on Channel 5 last year, was created by Derry Girls creator Lisa McGee and her husband Tobias Beer and tells the story of a young Cambridge student who falls in love with her Irish lecturer.
She follows him to Donegal, where a tragic and suspicious death takes place, and she starts to doubt everything she knew about him and her own mind.
Confirming the news on Twitter on Sunday, McGee said: "The Deceived just dropped on Netflix UK - if you like your Sunday nights creepy."

The bad news is the programme is only available on UK Netflix for now, meaning unless you have a VPN you might have to wait a little while - but here's hoping not too long.
JOE spoke to Lisa McGee and Tobias Beer recently on The Big Reviewski and you can listen to that full interview below, otherwise you can skip to the 7.15 mark to hear some chat about The Deceived.
