Hector has decided to take a break from radio to pursue a number of television projects, but who is going to take the Navan man’s place?
We love watching them every week on Republic of Telly (check out the best skit from this week’s episode, here), but how would you like to chuckle along to Bernard O’Shea & Jennifer Maguire on the radio every weekday morning?
Well, that could soon become a reality as the pair are hotly tipped to take Hector’s morning slot on RTÉ’s 2FM when the Navan man steps down from the show this coming Friday.
Also in the running to take over from Hector are Phantom FM’s Keith Walsh and the always-reliable stand-in presenter Louise Walsh. While it will be sad to see Hector leave the morning slot, we’re sure he’ll ‘Keep her lit’ no matter what he gets up to with the latest instalment of his TV show ‘Hector Goes…’.
