This is it. 42 years and nine movies later, the end of the Skywalker saga is on the horizon.
Sure, the Star Wars universe will continue on, with The Mandalorian and the new movies from the guys behind Game Of Thrones and so on, but this is where the story of the Skywalker comes to an end, with Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise Of Skywalker.
This footage was first shown to the attendees at the Disney convention D23 over the weekend, but with the internet rife with rumours and gossip of what it contained, Disney did the right thing and let us all see it.
Kicking off with a mini-rundown of the entire series to date, we then get to see some epic new footage from the upcoming third trilogy closer, which itself ends with... Evil Rey? Looking like she's been completely turned to the Dark Side?
Uh oh.
Or could this just be a trick of the mind, like when she was stuck in that cave of mirrors in The Last Jedi?
Plus.... PLUS! Is that an EVIL C-3PO??
Thankfully we don't have too much longer to wait and find out...
